Game Day 2025

Well, the dust has settled on Game Day 2025, and I think our organizers have finally caught up on their sleep!

I just want to take a second to thank everyone in our community. You are all amazing. Whether you raised $12 or $12,000, you dedicated your time and effort to help kids from our communities have a chance at a life beyond their illnesses and injuries, and to help their family’s have the chance to watch them grow and learn and play. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you, and you cannot fathom how much I appreciate you.

I also want to thank my incredible team. Whether they interact directly with the community or secretly pull strings behind the curtains, Game Day couldn’t happen without our amazing organizers. I have been incredibly nervous stepping into the presidential role this year, but knew every step of the way that I had the best team I could ever ask for behind me. Each and every one of them consistently goes above and beyond to make this guild, community, and event what it is.

Extra special shout outs to Ray, Josh, and Courteney, who volunteered their time and experience to help make sure Game Day ran smoothly.

By the end of Game Day, our in-person attendees had raised over $51,000 CAD, which blows our previous record for attendees out of the water. We still have funds coming in until the end of the year, and are still calculating totals from our gamers and fundraisers who couldn’t attend our in-person event. We will release the final total for 2025 in the new year.

Thank you again everyone for your amazing work. It warms my heart to see how many people are willing to come together for our vulnerable kids in such a big way.
